Develop Evacuation Plan

One of the unique requirements of a tramway is to develop a method of evacuating passengers from a inoperative. This can be a challenge depending upon the terrain and other obstacles such as roadway, water crossings and building.  Other challenges may include night time operations, winter conditions or high towers. The development of a program consists of analyzing the unique needs of the tramway alignment and operations, writing a evacuation plan that addresses the demands, developing a technique for removing stranded passengers and finally training evacuation personnel.

Tramway Engineering has reviewed evacuation plans from all of the ski areas in Colorado. We have experienced almost every imaginable challenge in evacuation. We understand the challenges and have the solutions needed to develop a workable plan.
